Everyone is invited to a social gathering at which you can help knit twiddle muffs or sew activity cushions for distribution to individuals caring for people with dementia. These easy to make items provide a wonderful source of visual, tactile and sensory stimulation, and keep hands busy and snug at the same time.

All materials will be provided, as will free tea, coffee and cake to those who can help.

The event will be held in the Quaker Meeting House, Meeting House Lane, Penrith between 10:00 and 15:00. You can give as little or as much time as you can spare and you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome.
